Dave Wood joined Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors in 2022 as a Financial Advisor, bringing more than a decade of broad financial services experience and a genuine passion for helping people make confident, informed decisions about their future. At the core of Dave’s approach is communication—he believes meaningful financial planning begins with listening to what matters most to each client, then translating complex financial concepts into clear, actionable strategies. His focus on education empowers clients to make thoughtful choices, reduces uncertainty, and builds long-term confidence in their financial plans.
Dave partners closely with individuals and families to deliver customized, long-term strategies designed to manage risk, build wealth, and support evolving financial goals. He is deeply motivated by his desire to help people plan for their future and finds particular fulfillment in ensuring clients not only have a plan, but fully understand it. Known for his empathetic nature and dependable approach, Dave also plays an essential role within the Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors team by supporting key administrative functions, responding promptly to client needs, and helping deliver a seamless client experience.
Before joining Boston Harbor Wealth Advisors, Dave spent ten years at MFS Investment Management, where he developed a comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of the financial services industry. His experience spans investments, client service, operations, and sales—providing him with a well-rounded perspective that enhances his ability to serve clients effectively. Dave earned a Bachelor of Science in Business from Providence College and an MBA with a concentration in Strategy from Boston University. Today, he combines his industry expertise, passion for education, and strong communication skills to serve as a trusted, long-term partner to the clients he advises.
When I’m not in the office, my time is centered around my family, which sits at the heart of everything I do. My wife, Lindsey, and I are the proud parents of our sons, Henry (born 2021) and Liam (born 2024), and we are excited to be expecting another child in November 2026. Our family also includes two French Bulldogs, Louie and Lola, and we enjoy staying active and spending quality time together.
I enjoy playing my favorite sports—tennis, basketball, and golf—and when I’m home, I love cooking for my family. Whether I’m experimenting with a new recipe or preparing one of our tried-and-true favorites, being together around the table is something I truly value.
Looking ahead, I’m most excited about coaching my kids in sports, continuing to share meaningful family activities, and becoming even more involved in our community. Spending intentional time with my family and staying active together is the foundation of my life outside of work.
